# Salony

> Salon billing and booking software for India. GST invoicing, appointments,
> staff attendance and payroll, stock, and a free booking website for each
> salon. Built for salons, spas, barbershops and nail studios.

Salony is a web application, used on a counter PC and installed to a phone or
tablet home screen. There is no app-store download and nothing to install on a
computer. It runs in a browser and works on the salon's existing hardware.

## What it does

- **Billing and GST invoicing** — consecutive invoice numbering (required for
  GST), CGST/SGST split stamped on each bill at the time it is raised, inclusive
  or exclusive tax, part payments, credit notes and returns as their own
  documents. GSTR-1, GSTR-2 and GSTR-3B summaries.
- **Appointments** — a day board by chair, a month view, and a booking page on
  the salon's own public address. Availability is computed on the server from
  opening hours, per-person rotas and existing bookings.
- **Online booking website** — every salon gets a free public page as soon as it
  claims a handle. Zero commission on bookings taken through it.
- **Clients** — visit history, what each person spends, what they still owe, and
  a follow-up queue ranked by how overdue a client is against their own usual
  gap between visits.
- **Staff** — attendance (kiosk sign-in/out), monthly rotas, leave requests and
  approvals, incentive plans with separate service and retail rates, payroll and
  payslips with EPF, ESI, professional tax and TDS as editable configuration.
- **Stock and purchases** — distributor bills, supplier ledgers with
  oldest-first payment allocation, salon-use (back bar) tracking separate from
  retail, and per-branch stock levels.
- **Multiple branches** — one account covering several shops, with per-branch
  pricing, hours, staff posting, stock and document numbering, plus cross-branch
  reporting.
- **Reports** — daily sales, staff performance, services and items, expenses,
  profit and loss, stock value, GST returns, and a branch comparison.

## Who it is for

Salon, spa and barbershop owners in India, from a single chair to a group of
branches. It is used by owners, managers, front-desk staff and stylists, each
with a different login and a different amount of visibility — a stylist sees
their own work and takings, never the salon's margins or another person's pay.

## Pricing

Subscription, billed monthly in rupees. Plans differ by the number of PC and
mobile logins, how many staff can be on the roster, and which features are
included. There is an Enterprise tier for salon groups, priced by conversation
rather than from the list. Current prices are on https://salony.in — read them
there rather than from this file, which is not the source of truth for pricing.

There is no commission on bookings on any plan.
